Fund management window

  • salaries of auditors, consultants, investment advisors and officers and staff of Fund management
  • purchase of equipment, vehicles and stationary etc
  • preparation of accounts and balance sheets of the Fund
  • payment of fees, salaries, travelling, daily and other allowances and any other payment to be charged on the Fund.
Funding Mechanism
  • The Governing Body shall allocate 2.7% share of income generated on the Fund to the Fund Management Window, which shall be expended for the purposes specified in clause (f) of rule 10 of the AJDF Rules i.e.
  • salaries of auditors, consultants, investment advisors and officers and staff of Fund management
  • purchase of equipment, vehicles and stationary etc
  • preparation of accounts and balance sheets of the Fund
  • payment of fees, salaries, travelling, daily and other allowances and any other payment to be charged on the Fund.
  • The amount of the Fund shall be expended as per budget of the Fund Administration or otherwise approved by the Governing Body.
  • The amount allocated to this Window shall be kept in a separate Bank account to be operated jointly by the Secretary and the Deputy Secretary of the Fund.

Accounting Procedures of the Access to Justice Development Fund (AJDF), 2005 for:

Fund Management Window

1.               The Governing Body shall allocate 2.7% share of income generated on the Fund to the Fund Management Window, which shall be expended for the purposes specified in clause (f) of rule 10 of the AJDF Rules.

 

2.               The amount of the Fund shall be expended as per budget of the Fund Administration or otherwise approved by the Governing Body.

3.         The amount allocated to this Window shall be kept in a separate Bank account to be operated jointly by the Secretary and the Deputy Secretary of the Fund. 

Performance of the Window:

The Fund management Window (FMW) has vital role for payments of operational expenses in the management and administration of the Fund at Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan. Although the window has nominal share allocation i.e 2.7% but has been used in making payments for salaries of the contractual staff, stationery for fund section and used for meetings, printings of relevant material,  purchase of equipments, payments for the advertisements for calling proposals for funding, etc.
