The Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan invites applications for internship from Fresh Law Graduates or Students who are undergoing their Law Graduate Program at Universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, to work in the Secretariat, Law & Justice Commission of Pakistan on pro bono basis for a period of three months to one year. The candidate must possess foundational knowledge of the legal system, with an aptitude of research and ability to use analytical tools.
The selected candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Spade work for research proposals and finding judgments of the apex courts
- Sifting of the newspapers/articles/legal research
- Rendering assistance for compilation of the judicial statistics
- Any other work assigned by the supervisor.
The Applicant must:
- Be a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; and
- Not be above 30 years of age at the time of application
- Possess good English speaking and writing skills
- Possess legal knowledge with the ability to perform legal research, methodologies and tools.
